Dunn County Treatment Court

Treatment Court is a voluntary program that offers individuals facing felony-level charges an alternative to traditional sentencing on drug/alcohol related charges or alternatives to revocation (ATR) through probation.  The mission of Dunn County Treatment Court is to empower individuals to establish and maintain recovery while enhancing community safety. 

 

Treatment Court takes place every Wednesday from 8:30 am to 9:30 am in Branch 3.

 

What are the benefits of the program?

Treatment Court can provide a treatment alternative rather than a lengthy jail or prison sentence.  It will assist with establishing a healthy lifestyle and developing a positive support network.  Treatment Court works with individuals to improve mental health, coping skills and develop recovery tools. 

What are the eligibility requirements of Treatment Court?

1. 18+ years old

2. Dunn County resident

3. Felony charges related to drug/alcohol use

4. High Risk on COMPAS assessment

5. Moderate-Severe Substance Use Disorder

 

Interested in joining Treatment Court?

Individuals interested in Treatment Court can be referred through the District Attorney’s Office, Defense Attorneys, Probation & Parole Agents, Human Services, or Law Enforcement.  Upon referral, individuals will meet with Treatment Court staff to determine eligibility.
