Mission/Departmental Purpose

To ensure financial and medical support for families in a manner consistent with Federal, State, and local policy.
The agency provides services including location of absent parents, establishing a legal obligation to support, establishment of paternity for non-marital children, enforcement of and monitoring of child support payments.
