Mission Statement
The Clerk of Court's office provides administrative support services for all branches of the Dunn County Circuit Court including record-keeping for all court cases, collecting money on court ordered financial obligations, and managing the court's jury system. The Clerk of Court’s Office is committed to providing professional and timely assistance, ensuring equal access to court services, treating users of the court system with respect and dignity, and enhancing public trust and confidence in the court system.
History
The Clerk of Court's office is statutorily mandated to provide record keeping and collect all fees, fines, and forfeitures for the judicial system. The office is headed by the Clerk of Court, a county elected position. Until 1978 when the court system reorganized, the Clerk of Court's office provided administrative services for both the county court and circuit court. Wisconsin is now under a single trial court system.

- Payments of all fines and forfeitures, including setting up payment plans and wage assignments
- Record Requests and/or Record Searches
The Clerk of Circuit Court and Staff are not allowed to give legal Advice

Court Date Text Message Reminders

Once the form is completed you can turn it into the Clerk of Courts office in person, by mail, or by faxing it to (715) 232-6888. The system will automatically send a text message notification at 6:00 p.m. two days prior to any scheduled court activity. Messages will not be sent on holidays or weekends. For example: If an activity is scheduled for Tuesday, the message will be sent on Friday at 6:00 p.m.. The text of the message is generated by the system using the following information: county name, activity description, case number, time, date and activity location. Example Message: “Your Dunn County Motion Hearing for case 2015CM000023 is @ 8:00 AM on Wed May 13th in the Dunn County Courthouse, Branch 2. Replies Discarded.”
Court Date Information
If you are unsure of your court date please visit https://wcca.wicourts.gov/ to locate your case number. Your case will contain your future court date and time. If you are unable to locate your court case number please contact (715) 232-2611 to speak with the Clerk of Courts office.
