Outpatient Clinic
Program Information
- The Clinic provides mental health counseling and psychiatric medication management services to residents of Dunn County.
- The Clinic provides initial mental health diagnostic assessments, psychiatric medication management, psychiatric nursing and mental health counseling to assist individuals in managing their mental health and wellness.
- The Clinic is often utilized after other resources in the community have been exhausted.
- The Clinic primarily works with mental health and co-occurring substance use concerns. If substance use is primary, Dunn County encourages exploration of substance use treatment resources, such as Arbor Place.
Eligibility
- Counseling: age 11+
- Psychiatric medication management: age 12+
- It is preferred that clients between 12-17 years are involved with a DHS program or service for psychiatric services.
- Resident of Dunn County
Funding
- Medical Assistance or a variety of private insurances are accepted.
- The Clinic works with a variety of other County programs, including CCS and CSP.
- At times a co-pay/ deductible is required based on ability to pay.
- The County works to serve those that are under or uninsured.

How to Refer
- Call Behavioral Health Access at 715-232-1116 to create a Clinic referral.
- A financial review is completed to confirm funding resource.
- To begin either counseling and/or psychiatric medication management, an initial intake is scheduled and completed with a clinic therapist. After this, the therapist will assist you in scheduling an appointment with the psychiatric medication management provider.
