Program Information

  • The Clinic provides mental health counseling and psychiatric medication management services to residents of Dunn County.
  • The Clinic provides initial mental health diagnostic assessments, psychiatric medication management, psychiatric nursing and mental health counseling to assist individuals in managing their mental health and wellness.
  • The Clinic is often utilized after other resources in the community have been exhausted.
  • The Clinic primarily works with mental health and co-occurring substance use concerns. If substance use is primary, Dunn County encourages exploration of substance use treatment resources, such as Arbor Place.

Eligibility 

  • Counseling: age 11+  
  • Psychiatric medication management: age 12+   
    • It is preferred that clients between 12-17 years are involved with a DHS program or service for psychiatric services. 
  • Resident of Dunn County

 

Funding

  • Medical Assistance or a variety of private insurances are accepted.
  • The Clinic works with a variety of other County programs, including CCS and CSP.
  • At times a co-pay/ deductible is required based on ability to pay.
  • The County works to serve those that are under or uninsured.

How to Refer 

  • Call Behavioral Health Access at 715-232-1116 to create a Clinic referral.
  • A financial review is completed to confirm funding resource.
  • To begin either counseling and/or psychiatric medication management, an initial intake is scheduled and completed with a clinic therapist. After this, the therapist will assist you in scheduling an appointment with the psychiatric medication management provider.
