Choices (First Episode Psychosis program)
Focus of the Program
- Choices is a program for individuals that experience hearing and seeing things others do not (psychosis) within the last two years.
- Work to develop coping skills to strive for a better quality of life and decrease institutionalization.
- Provides individualized services of peer specialist, therapy, family support and education, parent peer specialist, medication treatment options, and supported employment and education as well as case management to help with day-to-day basic needs.
- Building meaning, purpose and identity are core components of Choices.
Eligibility
- Age 12-26
- Individuals that experience hearing and/or seeing things others do not (psychosis) within last 2 years.
