Tobacco Prevention

The Health Department in Dunn County has information about the Tobacco Quit Line, as well as the Fax to Quit program. We have numerous brochures and other media that discuss the risks of second hand smoke, and the risks of smoking during pregnancy.

We offer two tobacco cessation programs through the health department. A program for pregnant women is the First Breath program. We also have no-cost smoking cessation counselingavailable for any tobacco users. For information on either of these services please call us at (715) 232-2388 and make an appointment or ask to talk with a Public Health Nurse.

Health department staff are available to give presentations on smoking and the risks of second hand smoke. They have previously talked with students at the middle school and are available for any setting.
