Adult Protective Services (APS)

What we do:

• APS works with vulnerable adults who maybe experiencing abuse, neglect, self-neglect or financial exploitation.

What an internship might include:

• Shadowing APS social workers during intake, investigation, and service planning.
• Developing skills and advocacy, mandated reporting, guardianship processes, and interdisciplinary collaboration with healthcare providers, law enforcement, and community agencies.
