Mission Statement
The Dunn County Jail is designed to house sentenced and non-sentenced male and female inmates. We strive for protection of the community, inmate accountability and competency building to help inmates to live responsibly and productively in the community.
The Dunn County Jail will operate in a cost effective manner and in accordance with Wisconsin State Statutes, Department of Corrections Standards and the Constitution of the United States.
Visiting Information
- Professional Visitation
- Visits with an attorney, minister, counselor, and/or other recognized professionals are permitted daily.
- Hours: 8:30 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. (Omitting Meal Times).
- Scheduling visits ahead of time is appreciated!
- Attorneys can schedule video visits online, which are free and non-recorded between the hours of 5AM-10:15PM. You can register online at NCIC.com and submit appropriate documents for approval.
- Public Visitation
- Visitation is through a video-based system. All visitors need to register at www.NCIC.com prior to scheduling visits. During registration, there is information you will need to submit prior to being able schedule. Once appropriate documents are submitted and you are approved, you can then begin registering for visits.
- Visiting Hours:
- 5:00AM to 10:15PM (Omitting meal times).
- The following apply:
- Visits cannot be scheduled between the hours of 11AM-12PM and 4PM-5PM
- On-site visits are restricted to 3 visits per week
- Off-site visits there are no restrictions. Once approved, you can schedule the visit for any duration up to 30-minutes. There is no waiting period once you are approved as to when you can schedule a visit.
