Mission Statement

The Dunn County Jail is designed to house sentenced and non-sentenced male and female inmates. We strive for protection of the community, inmate accountability and competency building to help inmates to live responsibly and productively in the community. 

The Dunn County Jail will operate in a cost effective manner and in accordance with Wisconsin State Statutes, Department of Corrections Standards and the Constitution of the United States.


 

Visiting Information

  • Professional Visitation
    • Visits with an attorney, minister, counselor, and/or other recognized professionals are permitted daily.
    • Hours: 8:30 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. (Omitting Meal Times).
    • Scheduling visits ahead of time is appreciated!
  • Public Visitation
    • Visitation is through a video-based system.  All visitors need to register at icsolutions.com prior to scheduling visits.  During registration, there is information regarding approval by the jail.  The visitor is required to email a photo and a photo of their government issued identification to jail_supervisors@co.dunn.wi.us.  The jail will call or email letting the visitor know approval status.

    • 9:00 am to 11:30 am
    • 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm
    • 5:30 pm to 10:30 pm

The following restrictions apply:

  • There is a 16-hour waiting period before a visitor can schedule any visits after approval.
  • Visitors and inmates can only login 10-minutes prior or after the scheduled start time of the visit.
  • Inmates can have one offsite visit, per inmate, per day, at 30-minutes each and at a cost. 
    • Scheduled visits canceled by the inmate or the facility, the visitor will receive a refund. 
    • Scheduled visits canceled in a reasonable time by the visitor will receive a refund. 
    • If the visitor or inmate misses the scheduled visit, there will be no refund.

  • Inmates can have three onsite visits, per inmate, per week, at 30-minutes each, at no cost.
    • There is a six-hour restriction for a single visitor attempting to visit with the same inmate.
    • No back-to-back visits
